New Recordings

2023 has seen two of my recent pieces being recorded in the studio.

One of these works is The Tree of Life, a piano cycle commissioned by Daniel Johnson. 3 movements have been recorded by Corella Recordings for release in 2024 on World Piano Day. Corella was hoping for a Nils Frahm-eque vibe, and it was fortuitous that two of the movements fit the bill. The other movement is sardonic and jazz-influenced. Daniel was sounding fantastic in the studio.

The other piece is Mantoux, for voice and cello, with text by Laurence Barrett-Manning. The piece will be released on the Halcyon YouTube page in the future. I’m looking forward to hearing it.
